Collins is a seasoned oil & gas executive who brings 25 years of experience in all areas of production, specializing in optimization.

Most recently Collins was a leader at EP Energy, responsible for the central completions engineering group and various operations across multiple shale plays, including the Eagle Ford Shale. His prolific career in oil & gas began 25 years ago at Dowell Schlumberger in his first role as field supervisor & engineer, and has grown to include roles as completions technical advisor, completions manager, production manager and many additional roles as engineer. He also worked at Conoco and Burlington Resources in San Juan Basin and Permian. Ken brings vast knowledge and hands-on experience in production, engineering and management, and emphasizes economics, design, safety and continuous personnel development in his practice. His expertise thoroughly aligns with OspreyData’s mission.
At OspreyData, he leads initiatives with oil and gas companies implementing their AI-based platform. His projects help innovative producers in the U.S. and abroad integrate technology with facilities and business processes to identify problems before they happen in production operations and artificial lift. He helps producers plan to lower well downtime and lease operating expenses and increase production across fields and plays.
